KU Food Drive 2017

During the month of October, there are several ways you can make a difference for individuals experiencing food insecurity at KU and across Douglas County.

Add a Dollar at the KU Bookstore

October 1-31st

Add a dollar or more to any purchase at any KU Bookstore location

Donate to the KU Food Drive

October 16-31st

Bring non-perishable food items* to locations across campus or make a monetary donation online.

When making an online donation, be sure to select KU Fights Hunger when asked "What would you like your donation to be allocated to?"

Click here to locate any of the 29 donation locations across campus!

Bring a food donation* to Trunk or Treat

October 27th, 6-8PM, Alumni Center Parking Lot

Leave a treat for others this Halloween!

All donations benefit Just Food, the Douglas County food bank supplying more than 40 sites across the county, including KU's food pantry, the Campus Cupboard.

*Consider donating nutritionally dense items such as: canned proteins, beans, whole grain cereals and pastas, nuts and nut butters.

Coronavirus Update

As part of our efforts to reduce an on-campus presence and promote social distancing, KU Surplus is ceasing all operations and KU Recycling is limiting any special collections that are not mission critical. For more information, email us at sustainability@ku.edu
